My heart sank when I saw that we have to do a blog this semester. Especially as it has to be read. I don't like the blog idea simply because I will end up saying what I think, the majority of it won't be about art and it'll piss people off. I think I do that enough as it is.
I turned up today, I didn't realise I was late but must have been. But lets face it i wasn't really there. I never really am.
This might be an instance where a private blog would serve you better. It's up to you though and I'd really encourage you to keep it public. You do need to face the issues that are making you angry though, but I'd understand if this is not the right place for you. It's just that for anyone who harbors stuff the repression can (and often does) become a real problem in itself. If art can't be a way to work through these difficulties then what can?
ReplyDeleteI think the blog will remain public (after all it can only be easily accessed by those with the address), sometimes things are hidden when they shouldn't be. But thank you for the input.
